Operation Me ~ 21 Days to Optimal Health

Wow  another day has bit the dust..It's Offically DAY 3 of 21 Days to Optimal Health...DAY 2 of... 21 Days to Optimal Health was not as bad as what I thought it would be.  It actually flew by rather quickly.  I adhered to my new lifestyle change by incorporating fresh fruits and veggies.  I ended up drinking 72 ounces of pure water today...."GO ME" :)  I know it's very early in the game...but I'm excited for what's in stored over the next week or so.  I would not be honest, if I said that this was a breeze but it's mind over matter and I have great friends that motivate me when I want to through in the towel.  Consistency is the key.  And I will continue to  press forward and remain consistent in my goal for this month.  How was your second day?  What challenges did you face?  Feel free to share if you like.

If you are reading this then you are blessed! Our Creator loved us enough to allow us to see another day! And for that I'm truly grateful! How will you spend your day? Do you plan on thriving or surviving? We all may be going through something but know that no weapon form against you shall prosper. And every setback is an opportunity for an amazing comeback! Continue to be the blessing that you are. And don't compare yourself. Celebrate yourself. You’re in a class all by yourself. Keep elevating and empowering yourself! Make it a GREAT day!

~A Journey to Optimal Health~

Goals, Goals, Goals...It's the start of a brand new month...have you re-evaluated your personal or business goals lately? Are you on the right track? Do you know where you are going? Maybe you should stop and take a look? Goals are very important and will ensure professional or personal success; if developed carefully. Goals and an action plan are crucial during the beginning phase of starting new a company or a personal project. A goal properly set is halfway reached.  I wish you much success with your goals this month.

I have decided on a goal for this month and would love for you to join me...I'm not going to wait until the New Year's to begin my healthy lifestyle change...I started today (Dec 3, 2013...and for the next 21 days ending (Dec 23, 2013)....I will embark upon incorporating more fruits and veggies into my life and eliminating as much processed foods as possible. This is not a diet so if you get off track it's not the end of the world. I would love for you to join me or feel free to "SHARE your favorite "fruits and veggies"or leave a "COMMENT below if you have some recommended fruits and veggies for me to add to my supply."

The majority of today was great.  I started off this morning with fresh black berries and and about 30 minutes later, I had some green tea. My mid-morning snack consisted of some beautiful strawberries.  For lunch I had a salad full of veggies...lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, bean sprouts, onions, carrots, bell peppers and topped it off with Ranch Dressing. Around 2p I had another cup of green tea and at 3:30p I had an apple. For dinner I had another salad full of wonderful veggies...lettuce, carrots, onions, cucumbers, red onions and tomatoes with a Remoulade Dressings. Thoughout the day I end up drinking 64 ounces of pure water. I will work on increasing that amount.  I must admit towards the end of the night my body crashed and I had to lay it down for a few hours.  I can't necessarily blame it on my change in eating because on the weekends sometimes I go all day without eathing.  The devil is a liar...I'm on a mission...Day 1 down 20 to go...Let's Get it! How did you do?

I will be tracking my journey over the next 21 days.  Peace and blessings to you.

Tips And Strategies On How To Be A Better Person

Are you actively seeking a better life? The following tips can make it easier to change your life.
Give yourself a boost of confidence by reciting all the things you like about yourself. List all of your good qualities on a postcard. Keep this card with you, and read through it when you feel your confidence flagging. Better yet, record your qualities on video or audio and listen to it often. Is there a benefit?

Personal Development

TIP! Avoid going shopping as a form of entertainment or comfort. As part of your personal development, clean up your financial matters.
You should stay in great physical condition in order to get the best out of personal development. You can keep your energy level up with regular exercise, a healthy diet, and getting a good night’s sleep. This will give you the energy you need to be successful at your personal development efforts. Although it seems so simple, this can be a struggle for some people.
Change and growth can only occur when you want them to and when you choose to change your ways. Unless you understand and accept the fact that it will require change, personal growth will be almost impossible for you to achieve.
It is normal to find unhealthy foods tempting. Just like eating too much cake can negativity affect your health, stress can also have severe detrimental affects on your body’s health. Therefore, it is important not to let insignificant things stress you out.
TIP! As part of your personal development, you should constantly try to have love be the driving force behind your faith. Faith seldom exists without the accompanying emotion of love.
It’s important for you to know that you can reach your personal development goals. Believe that you should do the best for yourself. At the end of the day, you can feel satisfied that you have given it your all, and you will have nothing to regret.
It is important to have an accurate understanding of the distance you must travel to become the person you ultimately want to be. Understanding this is essential for beginning your quest for getting where you would like to be. If you can’t identify those two things, or can distinguish between them, then you will not make any progress in your desire for personal growth.

Emergency Fund

TIP! Don’t just respect people who have power or something to offer you; treat everyone with respect. The way you interact with people, and the respect you show, says a lot about you.
Create an emergency fund. The only constant in life is change, and sometimes those changes require use to take on unexpected expenses. Putting back a few dollars weekly can build an emergency fund quickly. This will be able to get you through a short term crisis like unemployment or a large unexpected health care bill.
Self-discipline is a key element of any personal development program. Learn not to give in every time your body craves something that may not be good for it. Conquer desires of the flesh, such as, overeating, lust, greed and drunkenness. By implementing self control and restraint you will be able to prevent harmful vices from having a negative effect on your mind and body.
Sexual capital is a new trait that’s extremely important to develop. This isn’t using sexuality for getting what you desire. It’s more like using your charm. Good social skills are not something everyone is born with, but developing them help you go the distance in life.
TIP! When you’re trying to improve yourself, failure can be a terrible hit to your self-esteem. But, in reality, there is a lot that can be learned from each failure that is encountered.
Building an effective personal development routine is not, as you might now agree, all that tough. Focus on the many benefits of your plans, and visualize the happiness and satisfaction that will come from making significant life changes

Consistency is Key

Wow, I didn't realize how long it's been since I've updated my blog.  This is actually the first time in 2012. I definitely must work harder and be more consisent with this.  So how are things going for you in 2012?  Are you on track to achieving your New Year's Resolutions or goals established for 2012?  Consistency is key; and slow and steady always wins the race.  A goal properly set is half-way reached.

I've personally been faced with a few challenges over the past few weeks.   However I have decided to embrace them all; and continue to press forward on this journey that we call life.  Experience is a great teacher and there are lessons to be learned from each and every situation we encounter.  Every setback is an opportunity for an amazing COMEBACK.  We must keep the faith and continue to press forward.  Until next time, keep elevating and empowering yourself.  Live, Laugh, Love, Always and inspite of.
Today, you can beat anything that comes against you. Nothing is too difficult for God. Start living under the blessing that God has in store for you.~Joel Osteen
